INTERNAL COMPETITION
Artistic and Sparring Competition 2005

 

In Brief

This competition is usually done every year and it depends on the organizers from the respective Community Centres and PASAK. The purpose of this competition is to foster camaraderie among members from different training centres, and also to select the talented ones for any events.

It is hoped that with competitions such as this it will motivate the members to improve their skills and quality in the art of Silat Seni Gayong. May these competitions spark interest in the young ones so as to continue to be active in studying the art.

The Artistic and Sparring Competition was held on 19 June 2005, organized by Bedok CC in cooperation with PASAK. In attendance include Professor S. Jayakumar who gave away the prizes to the winners.
